HUMAN DESIGNER

This is a story of one very complex but significant painting. I was sketching and painting it in the state of a pure creative flow and “dialogue” with the Universe. It’s full of symbols and information about the duality of human brain (analytical and creative) and human life (material and spiritual), about ideal balance (1:1.618), about chakras and enlightenment, about God, Universe, and the creation of humans. Based on the painting humans were created after some type of big analytical death on Mercury and Venus followed by some big life’s natural feminine creative force whose brain is in her heart.

In the middle of the painting there is a round-faced enlightened woman with kaleidoscope eyes, and two oval-faced men with the same face standing behind her. She has an opened Third Eye, and on top of that eye lays the crown, a symbol of Crown Chakra. I called the initial sketch “HUMAN DESIGNER”.

This woman can be Eve or Mother Mary, and behind her I see God the Father and God the Son. She may also be Ganesha, the goddess of arts and sciences with elephant ears; or Nuwa, the Chinese goddess who created humans; or Shakti, a mysterious feminine spiritual force in Hinduism; or Ma’at, the Egyptian mother goddess of truth, justice and balance; or Isis, the Egyptian goddess of magic and wisdom.

Whoever she is, she doesn’t talk. Her body is filled with gold symbols such as the Egyptian Eye of Horus, the Eye of Providence, and the new symbol that looks like a human brain if cut between front and back. She has the death of Jesus depicted on her face, and her index and middle fingers form the gesture of benediction. She is strong but uncertain. Although she looks like she needs to go left, at the end of painting I had a strong conviction that she needs to go to the top right. The left way is the way of human needs, and the right way is the way of human dreams.

The large heart around her represents the duality, the choice between blue-collar and white-collar jobs, between human on the right index finger of God and the Universe on the left thumb of God, between perfection and imperfection on the rainbow, between details and big picture on the night sky, between NO MISTAKES (HAKUNA MAKOSA) and NO PROBLEMS (HAKUNA MATATA).

The big “pink” parts of the large heart represent two hemispheres of the brain. They each have images, dots, one eye (creative on the right, analytical on the left), and two ears. One ear is round and looks like the human ear we know, the second ear is shaped like a rhombus.

The RHOMBUS EARS are located on the same height on both sides of God’s face. Analytical rhombus ear is outside and shows a computer. Creative rhombus ear is hidden inside and shows a man. To me it means the “COMPUTER vs MAN” competition. The visibility of rhombus ears tells me that we as humans know a lot about computers but not a lot about ourselves.

The ROUND EARS are both outside but different in size and location. Creative round ear shows a symbol of Chakras. Analytical round ear shows an iPhone in the form of a gold apple with Steve Job’s eyeglasses. It may mean that our analytical brain works similar to an iPhone, and if we want to understand where our creativity comes from, we need to study and open Chakras.

The DOTS (neurons) in both parts of the brain are painted differently. I see organized movement in the left analytical part where dots seem to go in circles, and I see no movement in the creative part where dots seem to create many independent areas working simultaneously at the same time on different ideas. The small yellow dots represent something that comes from the Universe, enters human mind through creative brain and then distributes it to the eyes and analytical brain. As far as I felt, when we die, these yellow dots go back to the Universe.

On the outer part of the “apple ear” I’ve painted a pink worm with green eyes, and that combination represents Education for many Americans. To the right from the “chakra ear” I drew a caterpillar that’s ready to become a butterfly. They represent EDUCATION vs TRANSFORMATION comparison, learning something new vs becoming something new.

On the outer part of the “computer ear” I drew a car, on the outer part of the “man ear” I did two mini paintings, one with a man, another with a woman turning her head away from him. The associations that come to my mind are SCIENCE vs ART, and PRODUCTS vs PEOPLE.

When I look in the ROUND EYES and the images next to them, I see two different directions. There is a bird flying up next to the analytical eye, and the human looking down next to the creative eye. It means going upwards, wider in scientific studies, and going deeper in the studies of the human being. It may also mean that creative brain was created first, since newborns are thought to see people upside down, and birds have to grow up in order to fly.

We consist of both brains, and we use both brains every day. How do we do it? The painting has an interesting answer. It has a magic Owl, a symbol of wisdom and intuition, or a magic Falcon, a symbol of wisdom, vision and protection, between two parts of the brain in the middle. It symbolically came on a ladder from the Universe. The Bird knows the brain, the goals of the person, where to distribute the information from the senses in the brain, and which brain to use for the right task and in what proportion. It’s the conductor of the brain orchestra.

The mystic Bird has the gold key on its beak and holds the orange spiral with the gold leaf on its beginning turning to a shamrock flower on its way. Later I found out that Pythagorean philosopher Plato said that there was a golden key that unified all of the mysteries of the Universe, and called it “the intelligence of the logos”, which is the mind of God. The same Plato called Phi (golden mean spiral) as “the key to the physics of the cosmos”. On this painting the spiral means the creative spiral movement inwards from homo sapiens in the form of a perfect gold leaf to becoming a shamrock flower that means God’s Trinity to becoming homo felix (happy and lucky) and beyond. “Cerebellum” written right next to “homo sapiens” is a part of human brain that controls movements and is often called the “seed of the subconscious mind”.

Right on top of the Bird there are two roads which I see as material and spiritual, as evolutionary and all-in-one-time.

The LEFT ROAD is Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs. The road of A. Maslow consists of 5 steps: first food and shelter, then job, then family, then self-esteem, and the result is self-actualization that I put as Doing What You Love. On the left from this road there is an image of an octopus with 5 legs. It means that this road won’t give you everything you can have. It leads to Freedom and Doing What You Want.

The left road goes up to the image of Mother Cabbage with Child Cabbage that mean evolution and genetics. When I was painting this part, I felt GMOs in the unusual colors surrounding them, and illnesses in the plus signs that meant positive test results. It may mean that our genetics and intellect go to our children, and as computers and phones, we become old, and that’s where new generation comes in. Cabbage also means money for the Russians, so this road is material.

The RIGHT ROAD is the way of King Solomon. It is enlightened (purple color) and spreads enlightenment outside. The left road doesn’t. There is a rainbow square next to King Solomon. On top of it I painted a new symbol that I’ve created by combining the symbols of all 7 chakras together. To me it’s like the Key of King Solomon, who was famous for his magic. On the right from this road there is an image of a seahorse, a symbol of magic, luck, power and good fortune. This road leads to Enlightenment and Being Who You Are.

The right road goes up to Gold Mountains and a sailboat with scarlet sails. There is a book named “Scarlet Sails” by A. Grin that’s about love and unrealistic dreams that come true, so I find the sailboat in the mountains next to a gold shark to mean risk worth trying to make dreams a reality.

Although the woman on the painting looks for the Golden Middle, the magic cosmic Bird gives another PROPORTION, which I called the FORMULA OF A GENIUS. It’s in the proportion of A. Maslow’s to King Solomon’s way, and in the length of the visible parts of the woman’s shoulders. To my surprise, it’s the GOLDEN RATIO, 1:1.618. And, to my other surprise, hand-sketched God’s head is in the curl of the Fibonacci Spiral.

So my conclusions are:

GENIUS = 61.8% CREATIVE + 38.2% ANALYTICAL.
IDEAL FUTURE = 61.8% SPIRITUAL + 38.2% MATERIAL.

Maybe we should all be more creative and have the nerve to dream, risk and make our dreams a reality. And, as written on the painting, use our gifts to achieve what we want. Maybe it’s time to be 61.8% human being and 38.2% human doing, and step on another level of human evolution from Homo Sapiens (smart human) to Homo Felix (happy human) because being smart doesn’t make computers happy, but being happy often makes people wise. Maybe we should listen to the cosmic Bird and believe that whatever happens is meant for the best. “All To Best”.
